National Hurricane Preparedness Week
May 29, 2008 – 8:55 amDid you know that the week of May 25 – May 31, 2008 is National Hurricane Preparedness week? Presidential Proclamation 8261 was published in the Federal Register (http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/2008/pdf/08-1310.pdf) today.
If you live in an area which is subject to Hurricanes, are you prepared. According to a story on the radio this morning, only 20% of those people who live in areas subject to Hurricanes are prepared. More to come over the next couple of days. Do you and your family have a 72 hour kit?
